At Living Waters Church, I served on a regular basis in several different areas, including early childhood, elementary, youth, administration and prayer team. Every Sunday after attending the first service I helped where I am needed, whether that be with the early childhood, elementary children or middle-school students. Throughout the week I put my marketing skills to use with the administration staff as well as joining the prayer team to pray over the congregation.
I also had the opportunity to participate in Vacation Bible School, youth conferences and other special events. In this capacity I served as a group leader to elementary students as well as sixth-grade girls. Behind-the-scenes I join the creative team and administrative team to prepare for the events.
At the First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, MO I had the privilege of leading Bible School every Sunday for the early childhood department. I not only developed the curriculum, but I executed it week after week. I strived to incorporate engagement as much as possible with a take-home craft. On Wednesdays, I led the elementary students in worship, fellowship and a Bible lesson, usually involving a game to feed their energy.
